Amadeus and its educational partner IE University are supporting Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the travel and tourism industry. Together, we provide a subsidized sustainability and digitalization training program and a collaboration network for entrepreneurs around the world who see travel as a force for social and environmental good.
As we are facing new social and environmental challenges, the travel industry is at a pivotal turning point. At Amadeus, we recognize that we must collaborate to jointly drive positive impact in our communities and foster a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable industry.
By working together with IE University, we have developed Travel4Impact – an innovation program and network designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focused on sustainability and help them become more resilient while amplifying their positive impact in travel and tourism.
This educational program is fully subsidized for SMEs. It is funded by the Amadeus Social Sustainability team and delivered with the support of the Center for Social Innovation & Sustainability from IE University.
Every year, we launch a new edition and welcome leaders from small travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation services, destination experiences, travel tech companies who care about people, places, and the planet and who want to collaboratively contribute to a more responsible travel and tourism industry.
All those travel and tourism SMEs that place sustainability at the heart of their value proposition and have taken the first steps in their digitalization will find great added value by being part of this network.
Apply now to the 4th edition! The call for applications for the 4th edition of Travel4Impact is now open! Apply before April 30th, 2024.
